Technical condition

Complying with the duty of investigation

As a buyer, you have a legal duty to investigate. If we, as purchasing agents, suspect that there are construction defects during a viewing, we will support you in meeting this obligation. We do this by having a thorough legal and construction inspection carried out. This prevents unpleasant surprises and unexpected costs.

A construction inspection is an independent, visual inspection of an existing home. An independent specialist checks the construction quality and possible hidden defects. This inspection gives you a clear picture of the construction condition of the home and insight into the costs of bringing the house into good condition. With this inspection, you meet your duty to investigate and you know exactly what you can expect.

Your guide to a new home

When purchasing a new home, determine your financial situation

It is essential to have a clear picture of your financial situation before you buy a home. Having your maximum mortgage calculated by a mortgage advisor will help you gain insight into how much you can borrow, your monthly expenses and what your budget will be. If desired, we can put you in touch with an independent mortgage advisor for a no-obligation consultation for a maximum mortgage calculation.

Economic value

Valuation: What is market value?

Seven Makelaardij

Market value, also known as economic value, is the estimated price that a home could fetch if sold under normal circumstances, without external pressure. It is an important factor when taking out a mortgage, because it forms the basis for the maximum mortgage you can get. After purchase, we will arrange a certified appraiser for you so that the market value of your home is determined.
